Globallee Review – MLM Bliss or Bust?

Welcome to my Globallee review!

Finding a reliable Multi-Level-Marketing company can be quite a hassle especially if you are not too aware of the ins and outs of the industry. Additionally, over the years, many MLM companies have been dismissed as scams, which has negatively impacted on the business model’s credibility as a whole. That said, there are some genuine companies out there that have managed to carry on with their operations and amass multiple affiliates to distribute their products. This article takes an in-depth and unbiased look at Globallee to determine if it is an MLM company that is worth investing in or another scam you should avoid.

THE GLOBALLEE COMPENSATION PLAN?

According to the Globallee compensation plan, there are eight different ways you can make money working as a distributor for the company:

  1. Retail Customer Commissions

You are eligible to earn a 20% profit based on the products that you purchase at wholesale prices from Globallee and re-sell to customers at the suggested retail price (SRP). You are also eligible to earn this commission if there are customers who buy the company’s products from your replicated site website. Keep in mind that the 20% retail commission is not paid out on preferred customer sales.

  1. Preferred Customer Commissions

Preferred customer commissions are paid out to affiliates when the customers that make purchases are on a monthly auto-ship order of your products. When this takes place, no matter the number of products purchased or type of product, 50% of the commissionable volume (CV) is paid out via the residual commission plan which has a unilevel structure.

The payout percentage that you will receive is paid with what the company refers to as “Dynamic Compression”, which means that if you qualify to earn 40% in commissions and someone on your downline qualifies to earn 20% in commissions, you get to earn the difference.

globallee commissionHere is how the dynamic compressions commissions plan is structured:

  • Ambassador – sponsor 1-4 preferred customers to earn 20%
  • Bronze team – sponsor 5-9 preferred customers to earn 25%
  • Silver team – sponsor 10-14 preferred customers to earn 30%
  • Gold team – sponsor 15-19 preferred customers to earn 35%
  • Platinum team – sponsor 20+ preferred customers to earn 40%

  1. Fast Start Commissions

You get to earn fast start commissions on the initial product orders that are made by new affiliate members that you recruit. This includes when a new affiliate purchases a builder pack or a combination of commissionable products that are bought at the time of enrolment. The amount you earn depends on the rank you attain, broken down as follows:

  • Brand ambassador rank – when you qualify for this rank, you earn 5% in fast start commissions
  • Qualified ambassador rank – earn 10% in fast start commissions
  • Team builder rank – earn 15%
  • Team leader rank – earn 20%

  1. Dual Team Commissions

When you qualify as an ambassador, you become eligible to earn the dual team commission which is paid out using the binary compensation plan. As you continue to recruit new affiliates and build a network, they are placed on either the left or right leg of your dual team tree.

As the affiliates that you recruit introduce people to the products you are selling as well as the business opportunity, their purchases generate CV. You are then paid 50% of the volume generated from these purchases.

A binary plan features two legs, and you can build it on both sides to a theoretic number of levels. At all times, you are required to have a minimum of 1 personally recruited member on your right and left leg to qualify for the dual team commission. Therefore, this means that every time you have 1,000 CV on each leg, you get to earn $100. This commission is paid out to affiliates every week, and if there is any unused volume, it is carried over for up to a maximum of 6 months.

  1. Accelerator Bonus

The accelerator bonus goes hand in hand with dual team commissions. Every time that you receive $1000 in the dual team commission plan structure, you qualify to earn an accelerator bonus of $500.

  1. Dual Team Matching Bonus

The dual team matching bonus structure is also tied in with the dual team commissions. As you continue to rise in ranks, you qualify to earn a matching bonus on dual team commissions that are earned by anyone that you recruit into the company as well as anyone that they enroll for up to 3 levels deep. Based on the rank you achieve, you can earn bonuses as follows:

  • Level 1 – 25%
  • Level 2 – 15%
  • Level 3 – 10%

In a unilevel structure, the first level is made up of affiliates that you recruit, the second level consists of team members that affiliates on your first level recruit, the third level will have affiliates that level 2 members recruit, and so on.

  1. Residual Commissions

The residual commissions that you earn working as a distributor are paid out based on the auto-ship purchases that the affiliates you recruit and the future orders of whoever they refer for up to 6 generations deep. Keep in mind that residual commissions are not paid out on the first purchase that your downline makes. Residual commissions are paid out based on a unilevel compensation plan as explained in the previous section.

Globallee offers 6 levels of residual commissions you can with the unilevel compensation plan:

  • Level 1 – earn 5% residual commissions
  • Level 2 – earn 5% residual commissions
  • Level 3 – earn 10% residual commissions
  • Level 4 – earn 5% residual commissions
  • Level 5 – earn 5% residual commissions
  • Level 6 – earn 10% residual commissions

  1. Infinity Bonus

As you continue to advance in ranks, you become eligible to earn 2%-5% to infinite levels in your downline. You can earn the infinity bonus that is associated with your rank until someone in your downline attains your rank and “blocks” you. Here is a breakdown of infinity bonus earnings:

  • Level 1 – 5%
  • Level 2 – 5%
  • Level 3 – 10%
  • Level 4 – 5%
  • Level 5 – 5%
  • Level 6 – 10%
  • Level 7 and beyond – 2%-5%

PROS

  • It has a comprehensive compensation plan that details how you can expect to earn commissions and bonuses.
  • The cost to join as an affiliate is quite affordable.

globallee cons thumbs downCONS

  • You are required to recruit new affiliates to rise in ranks and increase your earnings.
  • The company is yet to establish itself as it has been in existence for less than a year.
  • There is not much money to be made with the company because of the way it is structured.
  • There is no scientific evidence to back up the claims made on how the products work.

VERDICT

Globallee is a seemingly genuine company, but because there is not much money to be made working as a distributor, it is not the most ideal business to invest in as it only allows those who attain the highest ranks to benefit the most. Therefore, unless you are ready to meet the strict requirements, I would suggest looking into other ways you can make money.

WHAT IS BETTER THAN GLOBALLEE?

man in thoughtI am all for having your own business.  I believe that the days of relying on a job for financial security are behind us.  But MLM is just not a model that I trust.

I believe that leveraging the vast power of the internet to create a long lasting and successful business, from home, is the future.

I believe in this idea so much, that I follow my own advice ?

The model I know is the best way to financial security is Affiliate Marketing.  It does not require you to sell stuff to your friends and family that they don’t need.  You don’t have to recruit anyone and you don’t need an inventory.

  1. I find this Globallee review to be quite interesting and informative, I usually run away from MLM companies especially when one has to buy a product and recruit while forcing recruits to buy the product. The scheme looks very complicated and it is usually done like this on purpose. I would definitely go for Affiliate Marketing, it is always a legit stable way of creating your own online business.

  2. Thank you for your informative article on Globalee Mike.

I must confess to being quite sceptical when it comes to the Multi Level Marketing concept however although a relatively new company Globallee do appear to have quite an organised structure in place which indicates that it definitely intends to be here for the long term.

As someone who has an online Affiliate Marketing business,do you believe that Globalee would be a good addition to add to your online business portfolio for the long term.

    • Hi CoolBudgetFamilyHolidays,

As I stated in my review I believe they are legitimate.  If you are open to MLM, then you could certainly add them to your portfolio.  However, using the term “portfolio” suggest that you are considering, or are already, taking part in various online make money models.  I discourage you from taking this approach and recommend you stick to one business model at a time.  I am partial to Affiliate Marketing but MLM is certainly another avenue.

  3. Years ago I got involved with Amway, a company with very good products, many of which were in the area of household cleaners, laundry detergent, etc. I had used the products and liked them, but I did not like the emphasis on “drawing circles”, which was their way of describing the sales pitch to recruit new sales associates. In my estimation, any company that is legit should not require the recruitment of more and more people “under” you to make money. The products should be sufficient to make decent commissions and develop a business. That is why, in my current affiliate program business, I don’t make any attempt to recruit new members. I just work on my site and include my affiliate links.

    • Hi Jack,  I actually tried Amway as well many years ago and was turned off by the need to recruit people as well.  I agree that the products were good (if a little overpriced).  I also am very uncomfortable “selling”.  Affiliate marketing suits me well because I don’t feel like I am pushing anything on anyone.  I am recommending solutions that I think will help my readers.  They can choose to act on my recommendations or not.  No pushy sales tactics 🙂

      Thank you,

      Mike
