Valentus Coffee is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company that was founded by Dave Jordan who is the company’s CEO. The company’s name, Valentus, is Latin for “prevail”. The company offers a range of drinking powders for weight management, immune system function, digestive health, and energy boost. Most of these are products of the Prevail brand.
The products are said to have been made from purely natural ingredients. Some of these ingredients include green coffee bean extract, dandelion root, ginseng, Garcinia Cambogia, natural caffeine, just to mention a few. The company allows you to buy and distribute their products as an independent distributor, giving you an opportunity to earn commissions from the sales you make.

Valentus Coffee has a variety of products to offer. They include:

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BECOME PART OF THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY?
Similar to other MLM businesses, for you to become part of Valentus Coffee, you have to part with some of your hard-earned cash.
- Basic
The Basic package is the business entry package that qualifies you as an Independent Representative (IR). This basically means that you are an independent distributor of the product. To be an IR with the Basic package, you are required to pay $59.95. You are also provided with several resources to help you with the promotion and distribution of the products. You will be able to access a replicated website or the back office for a one-time activation fee of $20.
- Starter
The Starter package qualifies you as a Gold IR for the month you paid for plus the whole of the following month. The package has 3 boxes and you are required to pay $145.95.
- Advanced
The Advanced package qualifies you as a Platinum IR for the month that you join the package and for the whole of the following month. The package has 6 boxes and will cost you $239.95.
- Business Builder
The Business Builder package automatically qualifies you as a Ruby IR. If you maintain 100BV and above consistently for 6 months consecutively, or more than 150 BV for 3 months consecutively, you are then promoted to an Emerald IR. The package contains 16 boxes and will cost you $575.95.
- Career Success
The Career Success package automatically qualifies you as an Emerald IR. The package does not require an activation fee. However, it will cost you a hefty $1199.95 for 36 boxes.
THE COMPENSATION PLAN
Valentus Coffee has a compensation plan that has a profit structure designed to push you to encourage other people to become sellers of the products. Since Valentus Coffee is an MLM business, the more people you recruit the more passive income you make. The people you recruit will be part of your downline. When you train the people in your downline to recruit other people, the activity in your downline increases, earning you more income.
The compensation plan has seven ways of making money with the company known as the 7 Power Bonuses. They include:
- Retail Commissions
As a seller of Valentus Coffee, when a product is ordered from your personal website or you sell the products in person, the sales contribute to your personal BV which boosts your monthly requirements for commissions. You are offered a commission of 25% of the retail price. You are also supposed to ensure that your minimum personal volume is 50BV each month.
- Fast Start (First Order) Bonus – This is Paid Weekly
If your first enrollment order is either the Basic, Starter or Advanced pack, you are eligible to receive a bonus of up to $60 depending on the pack. Subsequent purchases are commissionable but you will not receive an additional fast start bonus. For the Business Builder and the Career Success pack, the fast start bonus is $100 and $200 respectively.
- Legacy Coded Qualification Bonus – This is Paid Weekly
For you to make money with Valentus Coffee in this way, you first need to have a foundation team. You also need to be at least a qualified Ruby. It is also necessary that you maintain 100BV every month. When you start your fourth emerald/ruby independent representative (IR), you receive $100 or $200 as a Legacy Bonus for each person you enroll.
- Dual Team Cycle Commissions – This is Paid Weekly
You are paid the Legacy Qualification and the Fast Start bonuses before the calculation of any BV in the Dual Team Cycle Commissions structure. When additional packages are purchased after the first order, they are calculated using 100% of the value of the BV in the Dual Team Commissions structure. In order to qualify for these commissions, you need to have at least 100BV and have sponsored at least two IR’s.
- 7 Levels Dual Team Matching – This is Paid Weekly
For you to qualify for this bonus, you need to maintain at least 100BV every month. You will earn this bonus when your IR’s earn a Dual Team Cycle Commission. You get to earn a commission of up to 20%. As you move down your enrollment tree, the percentage decreases.
- Enrollment Pool – This is Paid Monthly
To qualify for the enrollment pool bonus, you need to sponsor 3 new Ruby or Emerald 1r’s and ensure that they qualify in the same calendar month. You also need to produce 100BV every month by yourself. The calculation of this bonus is done separately every month.
- Vehicle Bonus – This is Paid Monthly
This bonus is earned when you start the rank of Diamond. It also continues as you progress upwards onto higher ranks. For you to be paid this bonus, you need to maintain a Diamond status or higher for two consecutive months. The car bonus ranges from $400 to $3000.
Valentus Coffee has ranks that you are required to achieve and maintain. These ranks include:
Silver
This is the entry-level that you achieve the moment you maintain a minimum of 50BV. You also need to have personally enrolled at least 2 IR’s at 50BV. Each team leg needs to have a minimum of 50 enroller tree BV.
Gold
To achieve this rank, you need to generate a minimum of 100 BV every month. You also need to have personally enrolled a minimum of 2 Silvers. Also, you need more than 500 BV in each leg. 10% of the business volume in both legs must be connected to the enrollment tree business volume.
Platinum
To achieve the platinum qualification, you need to generate a minimum of 100BV every month. You also have to personally enroll 2 Golds. You also need more than 1000BV in both legs where 10% of the business volume has to be connected to the enrollment tree BV.
Ruby
For you to achieve the Ruby qualification, you have to generate at least 100BV every month. You also have to personally enroll 2 Platinums. You also need to have more than 2000BV in both legs where 10% of the BV, in this case, 200BV, is connected to the enrollment tree BV.
Emerald
For the emerald rank qualification, you have to generate a minimum of 100BV every month. Besides, you have to personally enroll 3 Rubies. You also have to accumulate more than 5000BV in both legs where 10% of the BV, which is 500BV, is connected to the enrollment tree BV.
Diamond
In order to qualify for the Ruby rank, you have to generate at least 100BV in sales every month. Also, you have to personally enroll 3 Emeralds. You also need to have accumulated more than 15000BV in both legs where 10% of the BV. Therefore, 1500 BV, is connected to the enrollment tree BV.
Double Diamond
For you to achieve the Double Diamond rank, you need to generate at least 100BV every month. You also have to personally enroll 2 Emeralds and 1 Diamond. You also need to have more than 30000BV in both legs where 10% of the BV, meaning that 3000BV is connected to the enrollment tree BV.
Triple Diamond
For you to qualify for the Triple Diamond rank, you have to generate a minimum of 100BV every month. Also, you have to personally enroll 1 Emerald and 2 Diamonds. You also need to have more than 100,000BV in both legs where 10% of the BV, in this case, 10,000BV, is connected to the enrollment tree BV.
Blue Diamond
To qualify for the Blue Diamond rank, you have to generate at least 100BV every month. You also have to personally enroll 3 Diamonds. You also need to have more than 250,000BV in both legs where 10% of the BV is connected to the enrollment tree BV. In this case, 25,000BV is connected to the enrollment tree BV.
Royal Diamond
You have to generate a minimum of 100BV every month for you to achieve a Royal Diamond rank. Also, you have to personally enroll 4 Diamonds. You also need to have more than 500,000BV in both legs where 10% of the BV, meaning that 50,000BV, is connected to the enrollment tree BV.
Black Diamond
In order to achieve the Black Diamond qualification, you have to generate at least 100BV every month. You also have to personally enroll 4 Diamonds. You also need to have a minimum of 750,000BV in both legs where 10% of the BV, in this case, 75,000BV, is connected to the enrollment tree BV every month.
Crown Diamond
For you to achieve the rank of Crown Diamond, you have to generate a minimum of 100BV every month. You also have to personally enroll at least 4 Diamonds. You also need to have more than 1,000,000BV in both legs where 10% of the BV, in this case, a minimum of 100,000BV, is connected to the enrollment tree BV every month.
Crown Ambassador
To achieve the Crown Ambassador rank, you have to generate at least 100BV every month. Also, you have to personally enroll a minimum of 4 Diamonds. You also need to have more than 1,500,000BV in both legs where 10% of the BV, in this case, at least 150,000BV, is connected to the enrollment tree BV each month.
PROS

- Their products taste good
CONS
- Joining the company means you agree to commit yourself to an auto-ship agreement that will set you back a minimum of $129 every month
- The products are expensive
- The level system of the company is difficult to understand and is very demanding
- It has a low success rate since the company offers a small percentage in commissions
- The company requires mass recruiting which is difficult
VERDICT
Valentus Coffee is a legitimate multi-level marketing (MLM) company. However, the chances that you will profit from the business are very low, mainly because the company offers low percentage commissions. Plus, convincing people that you are selling coffee that will help them dramatically lose weight and improve their health may prove rather difficult.
This is why I believe the only true beneficiaries of this company are those at the highest levels.
WHAT IS BETTER THAN VALENTUS COFFEE?
MLMs are notoriously difficult to make money with. Valentus is no different. The fact that you need a large downline along with small commissions makes it hard to make significant cash.
